adding mixed fractions

I have a few examples of adding mixed fractions below. Do you remember what are fractions and different types of fractions? I have discussed on this concept earlier also. I am sure you guys have made complete use of the concept.

Example 1:

To solve and finding adding mix fraction equations $\displaystyle{7}\frac{{{1}}}{{{3}}}+{x}={1}\frac{{{1}}}{{{3}}}$

Solution:

Taken the mixed fraction equation, $\displaystyle{7}\frac{{{1}}}{{{3}}}+{x}={1}\frac{{{1}}}{{{3}}}$

To covert the common format to the given mix fraction equations.

$\displaystyle\frac{{{22}}}{{{3}}}+{x}=\frac{{{4}}}{{{3}}}$

$\displaystyle{x}=\frac{{{4}}}{{{3}}}-\frac{{{22}}}{{{3}}}$

$\displaystyle{x}=\frac{{{18}}}{{{3}}}$
